Everyday seems to be the same...nothing special...nothing unique...just an empty life...Sometimes, I don't even know whats my true goal...is it to be successful in life? Last day of school was GP exam and guessed what? I wrote just the same as I did for secondary school exposition. A 15/30 quality work, not bad...just wait and see...

Went back to school for chemistry and physics lecture, received a pathetic 13/20 for MCQ and a scolding from 'Low' for getting so HIGH because of that.

and yes...that is the only thing i look forward to besides CS and DOTA. Master's at Bedok Reservoir: Nothing much to comment except that the Men's timing improved quite a fair bit...still much to be done.

Gyming was great, cause I dont have to pant alot. =) Monday was off-form...left arm just seems not to cooperate. Thats why at the end of it all, I even need assist for 5kg Clean and Jerk =.="

QJ was a joker...the guys were saying that should Bench-Press be done inclined, you can actually train your body shape. Guess what, QJ was the one who ran there to do it IMMEDIATELY. WTF? ROFL XP

Long Distance: Ran about >6km? Not sure. Intended to run to East Coast but apparently, some highway blocked the route? LOLX

I realised that my DOTA skills sucks, must improved eh....otherwise people will continue to pwned my head like siao. Maybe I shouldnt use female heroes. Yihao used it and he died more than me, hahaha

Thursday was Valentine's Day and well...I'm not going to elaborate this...but all i can say is this... ITS BEEN GOOD!=)

After being in an all-boys school for the past 4 years, i certainly do not have the habit of giving gifts to people on Valentine's Day...So as a result, i gave only to my OG mortal(in school, that is)...feeling really guilty when it is the girls that are giving me gifts instead of the other way round...sorry about that =.=" but Thanks anyway =)

Lectures officially started as of yesterday! Quite fun, Not bad, except for ONE!

Today:

1)Chinese Language(H1)-Entertaining & Boring...That funny chap(well...he keeps blinking hard and showing his Bugs Bunny Tooth =) ). After which, just kept yakking about the syllabus...nothing interesting. Mr Cai Nei Nei, i'm starting to realise your incompetency now =P

Wow! i didnt noe tat dancing was fun...tho my dancing really sux(sorry for pulling my partners down=P)Seems like MSHS crappy Hiphopthon dance didnt really help at all.

Day2-Mass Dance(30th Dance & Track Dance?) Dancing steps improved a lil...YES! Principal Talk again- "Dun undermine H2O, Dun stand underneath trees when theres lightning" blarblar..

Math game, didnt contribute cuz experiencing 'brain-lag' after many days of gaming...

Tired but Fun...

Went home with Boon Jin and 2 other fellas & i guessed we'r 1 of the few morons who walked all the way out of sentosa=P Sat on Bus 57 until butt & knees numb...plonked into bed almost instataneously when reached home.

Day3-Mass Dance, Olympian Time(creating cheers to counter Athena's constant bombardments) All thanks to Elvis! Funny guy! Diepno(Dinner), Dancing Diva(Due to the unreliable panel of judges, our best male dancer was eliminated)

Highlight-Disco Party:1st time tho. Jumped like hell for a while, den spent the rest of the time searching for my bag+hp, in case Joel called me...& den...it ended...

Saturday-Youth Fellowship

Received a notification letter from MINDEF, regarding about National Service. Great, now I know I've to get a Gold/Silver Award for NAPHA in order to go straight into BMT!#!@$ So...that means I have to start training for Standing Broad Jump & Shuttle Run->to get at least a C grade, WTF!!!

Glen-Infantry, Ling Ken-Artillery etc. While I would most probably hope for-Navy/Army(Combat Engineer/Artillery).

Chemistry & Biology SPA was alright...(Luckily I asked Mrs Khoo what is the apparatus used to crush stuff-Mortar, before the exam). And YES!!!, no more of SPA.

Sad...we have such a GREAT & WONDERFUL Form Teacher. Sometimes I really do not know what is really his problem. Many are starting to not stand his nonchalant attitude towards us. Yes, I know people have not been giving him any respect and stuff, but theres nothing we can do right? Who asked him to be so 'blur'? Yeah...he flared up today when Johnathan punched the notice board beside him, scaring him out of his skin, lol.

Monday:

-Chemistry Lab(Skill3), sort of screwed up. To obtain different concentrations of HCl(aq), I boiled the acid instead of diluting it, which is dangerous as HCl(g) will be produced, lol.

-GCE 'O' Level Chinese Listening Comprehension. Still ok, but i do not want to talk about it anymore, now that it is over. Weird...this was actually much harder than Prelim1, zzz...

Tuesday:

-Finally got a CREATIVE Stone Plus after the former 'steamed'. Nice...so far only 70 songs.

Thursday:

As NAPHA starts at 2:45pm and we're dismissed at 1:20pm(approx), Quan Jie, Ling Ken & Me went J8->'kill' time. Had lunch at Macs...Quan Jie-Mineral Water, Ling Ken-Iced Lemon Tea(s), Fries & Cheeseburger while i just took an extremely sweet Iced Lemon Tea(s). Went back home to change while the 2 of them waited at the lift, to prevent my crazy dog from barking like HELL!!! Thereafter, we took a cab to Serangoon Stadium as we were running late.

Finally, the 2.4km test commenced. I started off being at the front and was jogging throughout. 5th round- Lungs as if 'burning', 6th round-Joseph caught up with me and so we raced all the way to the end, together with Nicholas. I passed, timing-13:18s->it sucks. Hiaz...at least I improved by 1min since Sec2. Well...I couldn't have done this if I do not have Ling Ken as my 'Pace-er', but most importantly

I had someone as my motivation^-^ Woohoo...I won Weijian in 2.4km this time round, haha, lol...no offence.

GCE 'O' Level Chinese Listening Comprehension's next Monday, can only hope for the best. Hope that I'm not affected by the reverberations produced by the school hall's lousy layout, hope that I'll be able to listen properly and clearly, hope that...hope that...theres so many things in life that we hope for...

My SeCrEts...

For the past year, I saw a rather 'chio' CHIJ girl at the bus-stop. However, I freaking had no idea why she is always looking at me whenever I'm there and while studying her notes, she will always look at me...Its either I'm peculiar or what, I don't know. As many know me, my type and personality, I'm someone who doesn't dare talk to girls(except my 2 sisters larhz). Call me shy or what but all these could be due to my supposed inferiority complex, that often resulted in misunderstandings between me and people of the opposite sex... that I'm someone rude and not responsive but was actually not. Heck...I cant do anything, now that I know I created those misunderstandings, I can only just care about the present issues at hand and forget the past. Yes, I told Wei Jian and Joseph about it and no doubt, they were REALLY HELPFUL. Wei Jian gave expert advice while Joseph went to the extent of going to the bus-stop to support me, according to what he said (actual fact-he was only there to spectate), Zzz... I made a bet with them, that if I do go talk to the girl(initiate a conversation)the money i owe Joseph shall be reduced by half. Of course, both were unreliable sources, some people in class already knew about this. Humph!

Life's been great at Maris Stella(Please do not throw stones!)compared to some other schools. Sure going to miss the school after graduating, that's special cuz i do not feel that way when i graduated from primary school then. Maybe my thinking have since changed, that I've learnt to treasure the things around me, my friends, school etc...and not to regret after losing them.

-Yeah, we created our class 'Family Tree' sounds abit lame lar. Details: Wei Jian-Grandpa, Julian-Papa, Jonathan-Mama, Yicong-Er Ma/Slut, Sitthichai-Uncle(Maternal), Joseph-Er Ma's Son, Me-Uncle's Son, Kheh Yang-Big Bird, Glen-Elmo/Bad Egg and so on...

-Been classmates with Colin for 3 years, a funny and amusing guy...the way he treats teachers.

1) Sec2: To HanLaoPeh(Han Lee Kwang): Your IQ's the size of shoe. Obviously, that robot had no idea what Colin was talking about until everyone laughed.

Sec4: Varella: How do you test for Radioactive Substances? Colin: Expose yourself to it and see whether you get Can***, lol.

"Ok...thats my resolution, I simply hate Kwok!"

During morning assembly, tat 'kuku' made us stand outside for ages, under that glaring sun to listen to his everyday speech(if he hadn't realised that the global temperature had since increased). And addressing us as what?-> "Marist Gentlemen, Angels In Disguise, Heroes, Champions, Extraordinary..." Please...I'm really 'sick' of that. And now, he's got something up his sleeve: 'Hiphopthon @ SRJC' on Saturday. WTH!!! Whats more? This is supposed to commence at about 8am or so. I'm not going to give a damn about this, cuz...I have been deprived of sleep the past few days and I've got violin lessons at 11am on Saturday. So...either I ask my parents to write a letter or I get an MC from any polyclinics(since I was sick the past week). Btw, that 'nut's going to invite some guy from the Singapore Book Of Records and a Reporter from the 'New Paper' to see how 1800+ goons dance 'Hiphop' simultaneously, cohesively and being led by a major 'goon'. Seriously, do you think thats gonna be possible?(with the inclusion of the Primary Section?). Sadly, that was to do away with this year's Marist Youth Day Celebrations...

The past week was pretty fine, mundane, nothing interesting. And so, I've got my GCE O Chinese Oral on Thursday(Lucky har? 1st day somemore, harhar...) As my index no. was near to the back, I waited for about an hr+, coughing(phlegm in my lungs)throughout and listening to the reverberations produced in the hall, lame...cuz I've got nothing to do except to stare into blank air. When its my turn, I signed some paper, then started practising reading the seemingly 'ok' passage. 5mins later, the real test begins. Greeted and produced my IC upon reaching the examiners(2- 1 man & 1 woman). The passage was generally ok, with the exception that I 'glided' through a few words (1-4). The conversation was rather normal. Qn: " A Megastore was constructed near some HDB estates. Speak about your views pertaining to this matter". Wow! Do boys really go shopping at Megastores??? Throughout the exam, the male examiner was friendly while the female examiner was rather cold.(She was the same to all other candidates with the exception of Wei Jin-> Maybe afraid that he will whack them up, lol =P)Both were China nationals, i guessed so, from their accents......then it ended.

Friday- Two free-periods early in the morning. A teacher and the VP came to relief our class. That was when our class gave many feedback about the 'V'. CHANGE THE PHYSICS TEACHER!!!, HE DOESN'T TELL US THE TOPICS TESTED FOR SPA!!!

And obviously, the 'V' got wind of these and gave us the cold-treatment during Physics Lab. Heehee :)

So...the holidays were rather boring in the sense, there was nothing much to do except to stone at home. +.+ Going back to school for the 1st two weeks was to waste and kill time. Had Physics and Chemistry SPA taken. Watch 2 movies with Glen, Quan Jie & Ling Ken @ J8. Actually, planned to watch Fantastic Four but couldn't cuz...Glen can't go while I'm still recovering from flu. Did CIP @ Toa Payoh Library once more, (ironic isn't it?) just to get that measly 9hrs, zzz...

With the 'shrunken' holidays, I was left at home to finish up all the homework while my family went to Batam for Church Camp.

Thursday-

1200-1330: Met up with Glen, Ling Ken and Quan Jie @ Mos Burger for lunch. Ordered the Chicken Terriyaki Set which I waited SO... freaking long!!! can only blame myself for coming out late =_=". Whilst waiting, other then seeing Quan Jie desperately fought the Elite Four in Pokemon, we saw a rather humorous sight/show as it may seem. Apparently, Glen was twirling my waiting tag(or whatever you call it) and accidentally threw it @ a group of girls siting next to us. Yar, they sure seemed shocked but the reaction of Glen was even much more interesting. He darent apologized, just picked up that thing and kept quiet. Ling Ken then started to tease him, saying: "You want to 'see' then do it lar." Then his face turned from normal to beet-root.
1335-1545: We watched "Ocean's Thirteen", it was ok though. The way the cast carried out their revenge was funny. Rolling of some large underground stone could cause earthquakes, a dice can flip by the flick of a lighter, haha. Glen was generous in that he treated us to another movie, "Pirates Of The Carribean-At World's End" since he did not watch the 1st 10mins previously.
1600-1700: Since the show will start @ about 1700, Glen went off to the library to find some people, Ling Ken went home while Quan Jie and I went macs to have 'shaker fries'. After which, I slept a little.
1705-2000: Watched "Pirates Of The Carribean" which I feel was extremely good. Captain Jack Sparrow was extremely humorous, the 'cool' Will Turner, 'brave' Elizabeth and the 'evil' antagonist Davy Jones. 'Tupid Glen, never tell us that there is a show after the credits, zzz...

Will be playing "Granado Espada" (above) with Wei Jian and Sitthichai after the 'O's, dunno how long more I've to wait, hmm... Oh, yes! Thanks to those that gave me support/encouraged me on the day of my violin exam. So how was it? Well, I've got a polite Caucasian examiner and I felt I did ok for my set pieces and sight reading. However, I screwed my scales and arpeggios I think, repeated Dominant Seventh x2 and skipped a note in E major...Aargh! Nvm, can just hope for the best. This time was lucky though, no Aural Tests otherwise I may sing till I go "out-of-tune". Ling Ken , piano pro said that last time when he had the piano exam, due to the extreme cold, his nose bled till the keyboard was enveloped in blood and when the examiner saw that, she fainted, ironic isn't it? Dunno whether that was true though...

The past week was rather normal, went back to school for lessons. Had my Physics and Chemistry SPA taken. Physics lessons were the most slack as it was considered to be "free-periods". We drank and ate during the "V"s lessons, yet he did not even utter a single word. As always, A math was being taught at such incredible speed. Must rely on my own, now that he teaches that fast.

Recently started playing this Pokemon Diamond Version. Some of you may say that its childish to play Pokemon at this age but heck, who cares. This time, the graphics were much better only that the designs for some of the Pokemons were like weird? Seriously, I do not know what is your problem.

Firstly, you call me every night just to chat with me. That's alright but have it ever occurred to you that I may have other important things to do? You demanded to talk to me either when I'm in the toilet or when I'm mugging for my exams or when I'm doing some other stuff. And when I'm not available, you showed attitude/displeasure to my sisters. Is that fair? And even as we chat, 99% of the conversation is only about You, You AND You. Only when I say I've to go off DEN u ask me whether I got anything to tell you. Yes, you may say that's what friends are for. But for goodness sake, please give me some space of my own. It doesn't mean that I've to be there for you every time, every where, every place, you understand? I'm sure I'm not your only friend so why not talk to your favourite Gerald? since you like to brag about him so much.

Secondly, what's over IS over. No point crying over spilt milk, it doesn't help salvage the situation. For example, the Physics SPA IS over, so why do you still persist in asking me whether you did that question correctly or not, its not like I'm the teacher or what. I can't help but deny that you do have many good qualities. Its just that those bad qualities seemed to completely cover up your possible good ones.

Thirdly, you invited me to your church before and I did went there twice. That's at least better than some who don't even go when invited. This Sunday I'm unable to, because I'm on duty, so why can't you just understand. Anyway, you SHOULD be inviting non-christian friends, NOT me and whats more, I've already got my own church...I know you need someone to talk to at your church but don't you find it weird for a person to shuttle between 2 churches? I feel rather that it's better to stay rooted at one. I've been at my church since Pri 1-2, so there's a certain sense of belonging to the church. Anyway, you invited Jose before, he can't, and you never pursued that matter anymore but why it is different for me?

And for your information, you're not the only one with problems and worries, others have too just that they don't show it. The Preliminary One Exams have finally ended, and the GCE 'O' Chinese will be coming in about a weeks' time. So how did the exams go? as some may ask... Those subjects which I didn't studied much such as Elect Geog, did not fared as well as I had expected (Note: I'm not trying to justify my performance but merely to present facts^^) However, I was sort of a...satisfied? With the exception of English and the Sciences. This time, my L1R5 remained pretty much the same as last year's overall which also means that I have to start working on those weaker subjects sigh...

Today was NAPHA, embarrassing though... I 'failed' Standing Broad Jump' again...(186-190cm) and Shuttle Run marginally (11.6s). Sianz...and now I have to go for re-test..Aargh!!!

Sports Day

And so...today was Sports Day. Yep, we were dismissed @ 10:40am. After which we were to make our way to Hougang Stadium by 12:45pm. Since someone decided to 'pang sei' me, i had no choice but to return home first. Bus Service 55 and to reach there late...but nvm, Ling Ken was late too. Next, while we were waiting, we asked Glen(Chem Pro) about 'Electrolysis' and he could only answered 1/2 of it, kudos to XXX school for that past-year question. After what seems like an eternity, it finally started. To kick-start the event->'March Pass'. Surprisingly, this year, Julian was the 1 shouting those commands, lol. And it started off pretty boring, so i listened to the songs that Glen had sent me. Decided to flick off some rubbish to the ground below, only to be pointed @ by a Sec3 counsellor.^-^"He should be glad that no one threw anything heavier, like a water bottle etc.

Did chemistry theory workbook, then slept for an hour. Only to wake up when I heard that the teachers were in the race. Triple 'K' sure runs like fire, must be trying to impress LSP, lol. K, it ended off @ around 6pm (after listening to Kwok's speech to 'Marist Gentlemen' on 'angels in disguise'). And the day ended with me typing all these crap.

-Finale: Then, sang the school song which the majority kept laughing throughout.(Coz some boys in Champagnat House(Red) which is also my house distorted the song. For example "huang huang hai xing, sheng mu sheng ming HEY!"(obviously that 'HEY!' was not included in the original one)and that carried on until the song ended). The Guest-of-Honour must really had a good impression of our school. Hee..^^

-Wondered why our school was rather 'cheap-skate' this year. No 'Milo' van no anything, mineral water was given only to the primary school boys and helpers.Zzz...Saw my distant primary school cousin,who's also in the same house.

-Today was the most 'fortunate' day as in it did not rain at all, compared to the previous 3 years. Bad though...WE CANT GO BACK EARLY THIS TIME ROUND!!!

Updates: The 'V' finally changed his 'Starlet' to a 'Yarris' after being poked fun at by people.

Alright...i have not been posting for the past few weeks, due to some personal commitments-(there's no need for further elaboration here). Hence, i shall start on my new post- "CIP @ Toa Payoh Community Library," which i did on Monday...

Met up with Justin Yip @ Toa Payoh MRT station, then proceeded to the library for CIP. Amazingly, many 'kiasu' people have already blocked up the library's entrance when its not yet opened-@ about 0930. Finally got in after much delay, signed up behind the counter and then off to work. We were given the task of shelving, shelf-reading, blah..blah..Initially, we thought that the tasks given were simple but have come to realise that it wasn't. Ok, we had the impression that there was going to be a max. of 4 ppl, so poor Quan Jie could not come along...and in the end there were more ppl than that. Below is a summary of people doin CIP on Monday->

And so, because we came from an all-boys school, our job was much tougher..The task of shelving and shelf-reading of 8 shelves(non-inclusive of double-sides)were given to us while others did about 4? Adding on to the 'advantages' are that the shelves are extremely messy, which i sometimes realised how difficult it is to arrange books in the 'Children Section' compared to the 'Adult' or 'Teens Section.' During the course of this programme, members of the public often had the impression of us as 'real-life librarians' and so were asked on all kinds of questions...

Finally, we completed our CIP duty for the day, from 10am-7:45pm (abt 9hrs, non-inclusive of lunch-break hrs). Overall, it was fun, enjoyable, enriching blah...blah...but I still hated the idea of going there again on Wednesday. -_-"

Lol...people have been asking me to put up more interesting posts..will try..will try..Btw, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone:). 'Oink!Oink!' and a Piggy New Year ahead '+'

Now-> just a brief summary of what i did the past few days during CNY.
Saturday-'Reunion Dinner' @ 'Fortune Restaurant' with my relatives (Father's Side) which was rather tense cause we were..sort of 'distant'?
Sunday- Attended the Chinese New Year Celebration @ Church. Projection Duty, having a hard time switching between those English and Chinese slides -.-". Next, we watched the hilarious CNY skit put up by Jason, Jerry etc. The scene where Jerry supposedly dressed up like a moron, equipped with a lollipop and having failed his PSLE 6 times was funny. After church, we set off to my grandmother's house (Mother's Side). We sat around and watch TV until it was time to '"lao yu sheng" which i got those food all over the place "_". Apparently, i am not a good wielder of chopsticks though..lol
Monday- Went to my other grandmother's house (Father's Side) for lunch. Nothing much except watching the lame 'Tom and Jerry' show. Late afternoon, @ 1st aunt house- Ate alot and watched 'Wallace and Gromit'...sianz. Yeah... i nearly fell asleep due to all those home visits.*0*
Tuesday- Not much of going out except to Junction8 to buy some books. Actually wanted to buy the 'Ultimate' CD from Hillsong @ Life Bookshop but since my sis already had 2 Hillsong CD, i changed my mind..Planned to watch 'Norbit' but can't, since it was NC-16(my 2 sis can't watch them).

School starts tomorrow and it sux man... :)

Whew...finally woke up after napping for 2 whole hours.. By the way, congrats! to '06 sec4s, you have done the school and URSELF proud. Of cuz not forgetting my fellow classmates who got back their CL O-level mks, press on people! lol...To others, it may seem a long way but not to me anymore, the anticipation of '06 Sec4s getting back their O-level mks sure kind of give me the jitters too...sigh...sure hate being nervous in such an environment. Currently, racking my brains out on Binomial Theorem which Mr.Tan taught @ such fast speed and 'torturing' my fingers by practising the exam pieces-'Moderato', 'Romance'...

Today-Teens Boys Outing: Ended up with only me, Yiyang and Ps Steve coz others cannot make it...people like Roy who got piano lessons.. Met up at VivoMart then to FoodRepublic to grab something to eat. Next, we chatted for a whole 2 hours, Yiyang-'The New Projectionist' soon..as it seems. After which, we went on our own separate ways coz Ps Steve and Yiyang got something on. Was wondering why the NS train could take up to 10+ mins, after which i realised that a woman apparently 'fell' onto the track, hope nothing bad happens...
Sianz... need to prepare for next Friday's Science Practical Assessment-Physics..stressed out man... :(

Monday- Yes! Finali got to dissect a pig's eyeball during Bio lab period, which was 'gross' though..The 'black liquid' in the eye sure look like some sesame paste..lol
Tuesday- Played 'floor-ball' during PE lesson...which we were so 'lucky' to keep going first, Jlye's 'magic' hands.
Wednesday- Varella a.k.a. 'Blurbella' was indeed blur enough in that he did not realise that people swapped places in class, assuming that all were supposed to be in index order..zzz...sad :(
Thursday- Not so good news for Sec 4s this year..MOE has just decided to revert back to the 'old system' of using prelim marks for entry into first 3 months of JC..meaning? Disadvantaged in that our 'O-levels' will still be pushed forward no matter what and no more longer holidays as we had expected from the previous system.Sigh...
Friday- 'The Unexpected' Maris Stella had apparently trashed a school in basketball..which we never expected though.. MSHS:100+, XXXX:20+

Hi people, this would be my third post so far...Today is Sunday a.k.a Church Day, and so..it was my projection duty. All was particularly fine when i realised i had to sit at the computer throughout the whole service, to help rotate the 'Skype' thingy. Thus, its sort of like..i can't actually listen to the whole sermon! Oh well..nvm, i know i am doing this for GOD and not for others:) Ps Steve asked me to contact Roy, to try persuading him to come for next Saturday's outing. Hmm..that's going to be tough. Now..preparing for the new week ahead...sure not looking forward to Thursday's chemistry, Friday's e math tests and certainly not Varella's new seating arrangement. Zzz.. :(
